Title: "Roller Coaster"
Featuring: TheHobbits&Orli
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Astin & Elijah take the Brits to an amusement park. Mostly gen-fic. Part Three of the Pastimes Series
Disclaimer: This actually might have happened. Except for the Billy/Orlando bits.
Notes: Because, let's face it, who wouldn't want to hang with them at an amusement park? For VividViggo, for waiting so patiently.

"Now, that, gentlemen, is a thing of beauty," Dom stated, his voice reverent. "Just look at those curves."

"I'm looking, I'm looking," Elijah said, nudging Orlando in the ribs with a pointed elbow. "Sweet, huh?"

"Definitely." Orlando rubbed his hands together in glee, turned his mega-watt grin in Billy's direction. "Well?"

"I've seen better."

"You're kidding, right?" Elijah looked scandalized that anyone would dare to criticize the sight in front of them. "They don't even have amusement parks in Scotland and you're going to turn your nose up at possibly the most beautiful roller coaster in all of North America?"

"I'm telling you, I've seen better."

"Alright, so Billy doesn't impress easily." Sean glanced down at the others from their perch on the low, stone wall. "We getting in line or not?"

"Fuck yeah, we are." Dom jumped up from the wall, held out a hand to Billy and Orlando. "Come on, y'big poofs, time for some manly entertainment."

"I get manly entertainment all the time," Orlando grinned, accepting the hand up and pushing his sunglasses back up his nose.

"TMI, TMI!" Elijah called, already walking away with Sean.

"You're just jealous!" Orlando called back, then turned to Billy. "Well, come on, Mr. Don't Impress Me Much. We've got coasters to ride."

"Nah, go on. Think I'll sit this one out."

"You'll do no such thing." Dom flicked the brim of Billy's baseball hat. "I want to hear those girlish screams of yours when we go through that twisty turn right there."

Billy arched an eyebrow, ignored the small trickle of sweat that trailed under his shirt collar. The sun beat down mercilessly overhead, and the breeze stirred slowly, as if feeling the heat itself. "I do not scream like a girl."

"Uh, yeah, you do. But only when I'm, like, doing that thing to, y'know, that place."

"Orlando!" Billy exclaimed. "We said we weren't ever going to mention that."

"And I'm glad to hear it." Dom grimaced at the both of them. "Now, stop faffing about and come on."

"I'm not getting on that ride," Billy stated, gazing past Dom and Orlando to the aptly named "Scream."

"What, you're afraid of roller coasters?" Dom blinked when no pithy comeback was forthcoming. "Ah, fuck, you are!!! That's bloody brilliant!"

"Sod off, Dommie, am not afraid." Billy shifted uncomfortably under the combined gazes of Dom and Orlando. "Just...concerned."

The space between Orlando's brows wrinkled. "Concerned? Either you're afraid or you're not. There is no bloody 'concerned'."

"Spoken like a true Jedi Master." Dom clapped Orlando on the back. "Now, Bils, you gotta admit, this is a bit off, what with you shagging the human roller coaster on a daily basis."

"Makes me sound like a bleedin' woman," Orlando muttered, shoving his shoulder against Dom.

"If the high heel fits."

"Now, look here, I'll have you know that --"

"Orlando!" Billy ignored the few heads that turned in their direction. "Some decorum, if you please."

"What's that?" Orlando asked, innocent tone completely ruined by the twinkle in his eyes.

"Hey, guys, what's the hold up?" Elijah asked, walking back through the crowd with Sean at his heels.

"Loverboy's got a phobia," Dom said, jerking his thumb at Billy.

"I do not!"

"Do, too!"

"Not!"

"Too!"

"Not!"

"Can't you shut them up?" Sean asked, giving Orlando a hopeful look.

"You ever try coming between them when they're arguing?"

"Good point." Sean sighed and waited for the two of them to tire of the elementary school act.

Elijah, however, wasn't blessed with that sort of patience. "Dom, Billy, knock it off or I'll announce to the crowd that manflesh is back on the menu."

Both Dom and Billy stopped and stared at him in puzzlement. "Elijah, you're aware that made no sense, right?" Dom said.

"Who cares? Got you to stop, right?" Elijah's smile was wide, showed the gap between front teeth.

"Good point." Orlando placed a smacking kiss on Elijah's cheek. "Now, we moving along or what? And you will go on this coaster, kitten, or you'll be on the sofa for a week."

"Did you just call him kitten?" Dom asked, eyes going completely round.

"Uh --"

"Fuck." Billy tugged the bill of his cap down over his eyes, tried to sink into the wall behind him.

"You did, didn't you?"

"Dom, I hardly think --"

"Give over, Sean, you want to know, same as the rest of us."

Sean opened his mouth, then closed it, shrugging. Elijah continued to dart his gaze between everyone like he was at a tennis match.

"It's a joke, alright?" Orlando sighed, tugging at his t-shirt, trying to put a bit of air between it and damp skin.

"Whatever you say." Dom glanced down at Billy. "You coming or not, kitten?"

"Orlando, I. Am. Going. To. Kill. You." Billy gave each word careful emphasis as he pushed his hat back further on his head and stood. "And if you call me that again, Dom, I'll personally tell every date you have about that nasty thing you do when --"

"Alright, fine!" Dom clamped a hand over Billy's mouth. "Orlando, contain your woman."

"You sure you wouldn't like to show us this nasty trick?" Orlando asked, grinning.

"Hey, you're not talking about that thing he does when he --?"

"Elijah!!" Dom removed his hand from Billy's lips, gave Elijah his most stern expression. "Speak up and I'll tell your mother about that gay porn collection under your bed."

"What gay porn collection?"

"The one I'm going to plant there if you don't. Shut. Up."

"Right." Elijah nodded. "Gotcha."

"You'll tell me later, right?" Sean muttered, leaning towards Elijah.

"Count on it."

"You'll tell me later, right?" Orlando whispered to Billy, under the guise of helping him to his feet.

"Of course."

Dom looked suspiciously between both sets of men, but didn't say anything.

"We ready?" Sean looked at everyone, who nodded, then started back towards the line of people waiting for the ride.

"I'll hold your hand if you need it," Orlando said, draping an arm across Billy's shoulder.

Billy flashed Orlando a wan smile. "Thanks."

"Get a room," Dom said, smacking Billy's ass as he jogged past.

"Fucker!"

"That's it, Dommie, you are so joining in!"

"In your dreams, Bloom, in your dreams!"

Elijah beamed at Sean as they waited for everyone to catch up to them in line. "Good idea, bringing them here."

"Think so?"

"Yeah." Elijah shrugged, shaking his head when Dom and Billy started bickering again over who was riding solo. "They're too busy driving everyone else nuts to think about driving you nuts."

Sean stopped in his tracks and gave Elijah a wide smile. "You're right. From now on, you're in charge of the entertainment."

"Hey, wait a --" Elijah raced after Sean, laughter echoing behind him.
